Who You Are Today Is Just Fine

I work in an industry that thrives on telling people they need to be thinner, stronger, better, faster, more.  I want you to know that wherever you are at right now, whatever you're dealing with, you are ok.

I believe that all people, regardless of who they are or what they have done, are inherently valuable, and that includes you!

When you go to the gym, when you practice your hobby, when you eat your food, when you work at your job, I want you to strive to do them well because of the satisfaction you derive from doing things well.

Do things because you are excited about doing them or because you are excited about what you'll be able to do after they are complete.  Please don't do them because you loathe yourself or you want to punish yourself.

You are a phenomenally complex, amazing person, and wherever you're starting at is ok.  How would you treat yourself if you looked at yourself and thought you were great?

How would going to the gym or eating dinner change if you knew you were ok?

Training exists to support a great life and a great life starts by realising you are already pretty wonderful.

I do my job because I want people to feel well and to be healthy enough to enjoy the world around them, their families, and the things they love.

I do it because people are wonderful and because I believe that by people being able to function the way they were designed to function, that they will start to feel and behave the way that they should.

I do it because people like themselves more and feel better when they are a part of a community that sees them as ok already!

All the training and the things that sit around it, while enjoyable, are not the main game. Training exists to support a great life and a great life starts by realising you are already pretty wonderful.

We’re pretty lucky to have a fantastic community of people at QLD Kettlebells who come in to get abs but stay around for the coffee and company. Join us at our next Beginner Kettlebell Workshop or book in for your Introductory PT session and trial month to start your journey to moving well and being strong.
